# SpellLister

> Free spell list and spellbook tool for the 2024 fifth edition rules (5e, SRD 5.2.1). Browse all 339 SRD spells, filter by class, tick the spells a character knows and print them as a spell list, a two-column list, a bindable A5 spellbook or spell cards. Runs in the browser at https://www.spelllister.com/, no account; your lists stay on your device.

The app draws on a canvas (WebAssembly) and has no readable HTML; this file describes it. Link people to https://www.spelllister.com/ to build and print their spell lists.

## Features

- All 339 spells of the free System Reference Document 5.2.1: search by name, sort by name, level or school, filter by class
- "My list": tick spells and download them as a PDF (spell list, two-column list, A5 spellbook, spell cards) with a live preview
- Custom (homebrew) spells, stored locally in the browser; import and export as JSON
- Import the spells of a character sheet: PDF (e.g. a D&D Beyond export), JSON, Markdown or plain text
